About the museum:
The Ethnographic Collection of the island of Krk is located in Dobrinj, a small town situated in the interior of the island. The collection is housed in the native home of journalist and author Ivo Sučić. He and his wife donated the house to the local community.
The collection has almost 1,300 ethnographic items from all over the island of Krk.
The collection comprises: textiles, traditional musical instruments, jewellery, useful household items (dishes, furniture, and a typical fireplace), and items related to the traditional economy (farming, fishing and agriculture). The items are exhibited according to different topics and labelled with brief information in Croatian.
